Five-Year Academic Planning Calendar

See the UC Registrar's website, specifically http://www.uc.edu/registrar/5yrcal.asp?section=&back=Calendars for the latest updates in the UC academic calendar, including exam weeks, holidays, and when quarters start and end.  Remember that not all clinical rotations follow the University Holiday schedule - check with your preceptor before assuming that you have a  holiday off.  NOTE:  UC academic calendar dates are tentative and subject to change.

Educational Conferences

State-of-the-Art Conference (SOTAC)

The State-of-the-Art Conference is the annual Fall meeting of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM). The Conference will offer scientific sessions, postgraduate seminars, two-day courses, technical exhibits, and guest activities. In addition, two-day courses to be offered may include: Basic Curriculum in Occupational Medicine, Medical Review Officer Training, and Impairment and Dis/Ability Evaluations.

Information on the yearly SOTAC from ACOEM is available in July.

 

American Occupational Health Conference (AOHC)

The AOHC is held each Spring and is sponsored by ACOEM.  ACOEM will present concurrent scientific sessions, postgraduate seminars, and free-standing courses. The Conference features more than 350 technical exhibits and a guest program.

The Advance Program for AOHC will be mailed to all ACOEM dues-paying members in January of each year. Non-members can use the ACOEM website, request a program by calling (847) 228-6850, or email to: mc@acoem.org.
